When something doesn't work
What to do when an email doesn't arrive, a publish fails, the preview pauses or your domain doesn't go live.
Find the message you see or what's happening to you. Each case says what to do, step by step.
Your account
I didn't get the confirmation email
Check your spam and promotions folders. If it's not there, press Didn't get it? Resend on the Check your inbox screen. The link works on any device, including your phone.
"Too many attempts. Wait a few minutes…"
Berse limits repeated attempts to protect your account. Wait a few minutes and try again.
"This account is suspended"

"Berse isn't available yet…"
Berse isn't offered yet in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, so accounts can't be created from there.
Creating and editing
Creating my site didn't finish
Your idea is saved. In Studio, press Try again and Cortex starts over.
"Cortex didn't change anything"
The page may already have what you asked for. Say it another way, name the place ("the hero button"), or select the element before asking. If you asked a question, that's normal: Cortex answers without changing the site.
"Cortex is already working on this project…"
Cortex handles one request at a time per project, maybe from another tab or another person. Wait for it to finish and ask again.
I ran out of credits
Your site stays online and you can edit it by hand. Cortex is back when your credits renew, or sooner with Add credits or Upgrade plan. See How credits work.
Preview and publishing
The live preview is paused
You've used today's included time (Free) or this month's. Your site is untouched, and Design, Code and Cortex keep working. To keep watching it live, press Keep watching it live: it uses credits, and you're never charged without choosing it. See Live preview.
"The site couldn't be built" or "This page has an error"
On an editable site, press Fix with Cortex. Cortex finds the cause, fixes it and saves a new version. Then press Publish again. On a Made by Cortex site, paste the error into the chat and ask it to fix it.
My changes don't show online
Saving isn't publishing. When you see "You have unpublished changes", press Publish changes.
I got "Your site isn't loading"
Berse checks every day that your site loads and emails you if it doesn't. Open your site to check. If it keeps failing, publish again; if the publish fails, use Fix with Cortex.
Domain and forms
My domain doesn't go live
- Give it time: DNS changes take minutes to hours. Berse checks by itself every 20 seconds.
- Check the records: they must be exactly the ones Berse shows you, with the short names (
_berse,www,@). - Delete the ones in the way: if Berse lists records to delete, such as a parking page's, remove them.
- On Cloudflare: keep the cloud grey ("DNS only") on your site's records. With the orange cloud, your site won't go live.

A form message didn't reach me
- Check you sent it from your published site: nothing is stored from the preview.
- Look in the Forms Spam folder. If it's real, press Not spam.
- Check Email alerts: who gets them and whether that form sends alerts.
Pulse shows 0 visits
Pulse only measures your published site. Share it and wait for the first visits. If you published a while ago and nothing arrives, press Publish again in Pulse once.
