Recreate your current site
Give Cortex your site's address and it rebuilds it with your content, logo and photos, in a better design.
If you already have a site, you don't start from zero. Cortex reads it, keeps what's yours and rebuilds it more modern.
How to ask
In your idea box, write what you want and paste your site's address. For example:
Recreate my site https://levaina.com, more modern, with smooth animations.
What matters is making it clear it's your site: "my site", "my business's site", "it's ours". Asking to "copy it" or "make one like it" doesn't count as saying it's yours.
What Cortex keeps
When the site is yours, Cortex keeps:
- Your text and contact details.
- Your logo and photos. They're saved to Media, the project's image library.
- Your menu, with its pages in the same order.
- On a Made by Cortex site, your brand color too.
What improves is the look: type, spacing, layout and details.
Three ways to ask
| What you write | What happens |
|---|---|
| "Recreate my site" | It stays just as recognizable, fixing whatever is broken. |
| "Recreate my site, improve it" or "more modern" | Same content and structure, with a more polished look. |
| "Recreate it with a completely new design" | Keeps content, logo and menu. The style is new. |
How Berse knows it's yours
- Editable site: Berse works it out from your words. Under the box you'll see "From what you wrote, levaina.com is your site: we'll keep your texts, logo and photos". If that's wrong, press It's not mine.
- Made by Cortex: if it isn't clear, Cortex first asks whether the site is yours. Answer in your own words.
If the site isn't yours
Someone else's site is only inspiration. Cortex is told to take only ideas from its style, not its text, logo or menu. Check the result before publishing.
From Studio too
In the Cortex bar of an editable site, you can paste your link and tap its card. There you can turn on It's my site. Cortex reads up to 6 pages from your site's menu.
